Introduction:

At present, chemical methods are still used to prevent wax, scale and corrosion of oil wells at home and abroad. Through the internal corrosion mechanism of oil wells in different blocks, adding targeted corrosion inhibitors can improve the properties of produced fluids and achieve anti-corrosion protection for downhole, wellhead branch lines, and gathering and transportation trunk lines.

 

The intermittent injection method has a simple process and is easy to operate, but because it requires shut-in treatment, it has a certain impact on oilfield production.

 

The continuous injection method mainly injects the corrosion inhibitor into the well or the tubing continuously through the bypass pipe and injection valve in the casing annulus or annular space. The wax inhibitor requires a lot of manpower, the process is cumbersome, and the corrosion inhibitor will be wasted.

 

Therefore, combining the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods, the slow release of soluble materials keeps the corrosion inhibitor protecting the casing in the well, and at the same time, the utilization rate of the agent can be improved, and the production cost can be greatly reduced.

 

At present, it is mainly used in drilling and completion tools and staged fracturing processes, forming a variety of tools such as soluble fracturing balls, soluble fracturing ball seats, soluble fracturing bridge plugs, and soluble blind plates. At present, during the application of staged fracturing technology, the fracturing ball cannot be flown back, the production diameter is small, and the drill plug is required after fracturing.
